Lora Zombie

Scanning for interesting artwork is something I do on a daily basis, and today I was quite pleased with my find. I stumbled upon Hi-Fructose magazine, and a feature they did on the artist Lora Zombie. As I explored more of her work, I fell in love. The simple yet intricate designs, and bursts of pastel really made an impression.

Lora Zombie’s works read like fairytales. Somewherebetween the fantastical content and childhood reminiscence is where her watercolored works unfold themselves, creating unique stories that straddle the lines between allegory and social commentary. Hi-Fructose Magazine
